Pat Brown

Pat Wiseman Brown, 73, Corydon, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 17, 2006, at her home.
Born June 7, 1933, she was the daughter of Annis Reas Barrow of Corydon and the late Willie Wiseman.
She retired after 20 years of service from the federal government, which included work at several Air Force bases, including Eglin, Andrews, Scott, Chanute and Vandenberg, and at the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Dept. of Labor. She received numerous Outstanding Performance and Sustained Superior Performance ratings, with cash awards, as well as the Special Act Award when Headquarters Air Weather Service made its move from Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland to Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. As administrative assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for personnel, she relocated with the advanced echelon of Air Weather Service.
She was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon and was a charter member of the Corydon Moose Lodge 2493.
Survivors besides her mother include her husband of 35 years, Robert Brown, and her sister, Sue Adams of Corydon.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 20, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Douglas Finney.
