Ruby Jackson
Ruby Jewel Sizemore Jackson, 72, New Albany, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at the home of a daughter.
Born in Pineville, Ky., she was the former Ruby J. Brooks and a member of the Dwelling Place Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert C. Jackson; a son, Robert M. Sizemore; two sisters, Barbara Disney and Cordelia Taylor; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Charles Michael Sizemore of New Albany; two daughters, Bernice Blessett of Elizabeth and Sharon Goodman of Pekin; a stepdaughter, Brenda Stewart of Pekin; a brother, Bruce Wayne Brooks of Jackson, Tenn.; two sisters, Vivian Ovatt of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Cecil Brown of Port Richie, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Dwelling Place Ministries and Cancer Center of Indiana.
