Terry A. Shepard

Terry A. Shepard, 55, Corydon, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of St. Albans, Vt., born March 1, 1951, he was the son of Jessie Rameo Shepard of Manchester, N.H., and the late Clarence Shepard.
He was a former police officer for the Corydon Police Dept. and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Dept., a former employee of Jasper Engines near Leavenworth and an Army veteran.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Smart.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Anna Smart; a son, Terry A. F. Shepard of New Salisbury; three daughters, Trina Turner of Jensen Beach, Fla., Tammy Ballam of Jeffersonville and Jessie Kepley of Georgetown; seven brothers, Clarence Jr., Ricky, Gary, Wayne, Dale, David and Jackie Shepard; five sisters, Sandy LaPlante, Carol Armour, Donna Hannaford, Cheryl Shepard and Cathy Kemp; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 20, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Charles Smart, Randy, Jonas and Charles Wininger, Josh Kepley and James Ballam.
