Randall S. Byerley

Randall Scott Byerley, 46, New Salisbury, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at his home.
A native of New Albany, born Jan. 2, 1960, he was the son of Wilma Toops Byerley Walts of Corydon and the late Lorenzo Byerley.
He was a truck driver for Job Rentals and a former employee of Reynolds Metals in Salisbury, N.C., and attended Potato Run United Methodist Church near Corydon.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a stepfather, Glenn S. Walts.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Lori Ann Wiser; three sons, Jeremy Lee Byerley of Charlotte, N.C., Scott Lorenzo Byerley of Kannapolis, N.C., and Jacob Thomas Byerley of New Salisbury; five sisters, Vivian Fessel of Nashville, Tenn., Martha Owen of Georgetown, and Shirley Fessel, Ramona Clark and Carolyn Burton, all of Corydon; and three grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 2, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Larry Hensley.
Organist and vocalist: Sharon Stiner.
Pallbearers: Jim and John Pease, Jesse P. Long, Chris and George Franklin and Dan Weatley.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Potato Run United Methodist Church.
