Ronald N. Gibson

Ronald Neal Gibson, 53, Hardinsburg, Ky., formerly of Grayson County, Ky., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, in Little Rock, Ark.
He retired from the Breckinridge County (Ky.) School System and was employed with South Harrison Community School Corp., where he taught agriculture and was the FFA director at Corydon Central High School. He was a member of New Clover Creek Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of FFA and National FFA. He was an AGR alumni, a Scout leader and a shooting sports coach.
Survivors include his wife, the former Linda Faye Miller; a son, Christopher Neal Gibson of Murray, Ky.; a daughter, Sara Thomas Gibson of Prattville, Ala.; his parents, Neal Gibson of Short Creek, Ky., and Mildred Gibson of Leitchfield, Ky.; and two brothers, Gary Gibson of Tennessee and Danny Gibson of Leitchfield.
Funeral: Saturday, Aug. 19, at Breckinridge County High School with burial in New Clover Creek Cemetery.
Arrangements: Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Ronald Gibson Scholarship Fund.
