Conrads card several wins

At the Goshen Fairgrounds last week, Roughtoughnsmokin won, taking a two-year-old record of 2:06 for Harold Fravel of Corydon and trainer-driver Charlie M. Conrad.
Ndana Favorite was second in the Free For All pace for Jim Beanblossom of Laconia and driver Dave Beanblossom.
Ideal Becky was second for Junior Dalyrumple of Indiana and trainer-driver Charlie M. Conrad, who also trained and drove Scooter Bake to a third-place finish for David Brunck of Corydon.
In county fair racing hosted by The Red Mile, Forever Showin Off won for Don Conrad of Corydon and Fred Schroeder of Evansville, with Rocky Loney driving.
Kalamkari won for Don and Mary Brock of Kentucky, with Michael Neafus in the bike.
Dessies’s Girl was also a winner for Matthew Kiernan of Kentucky, with Neafus driving.
Neafus also picked up a win with Prodigal’s Best, owned by Wright and trained by Binkley.
Indiana Downs in Shelbyville hosted a pair of wins by driver Charlie M. Conrad, who piloted trotter Burn My Eyes to a win for Don Conrad, and Huntin For Trouble to a victory for Harold Fravel of Corydon and Charles E. Conrad.
Doc’s Cash was second for Andrew Roberts of Kentucky and trainer-driver Charlie M. Conrad
The top finisher at The Red Mile’s regular race meet was Bananih, which was third on July 29 for Kenneth Gehlbach of Corydon and trainer-driver Neafus.
Two weeks ago, Scooter Babe won at LaPorte in Indiana fair racing, taking a two-year-old record of 2:09 1/5 on the half-mile track for Brunck and trainer-driver Charlie M. Conrad.
Conrad also had a runner-up with Grany’s Baby Boy for Don Conrad.
At Indiana Downs, Dessie’s Girl was third by a half-length for Kiernan and regular driver Neafus.
Bananih, Look Who’s Talking and Do You Remember also wound up third in separate races.
