Bruce Williams

Bruce Williams, 93, New Albany, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Floyd County, he was a retired electrician for the old Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, a veteran of World War II and a Methodist.
He was a member of the 30th Infantry ‘Old Hickory’ Division Association, a lifetime member of VFW Post 1693, American Legion Post 42 and National Rifleman Association.
Other memberships include a charter member of Battle of Normandy Memorial at Caen, France, a post patron of the AES 596 and a past master of Greenville Lodge 416 F & AM.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, July 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Monday, July 24, after 8 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Monday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
