Betty J. Melton

Betty Jean Reagan Melton, 57, Palmyra, died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Overton County, Tenn., born Feb. 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the Erma Taylor Reagan of Jeffersonville and the late J.B. Reagan.
She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Reagan, and a brother, Jerry Reagan.
Survivors besides her mother include two sons, Jason Reagan of Palmyra and Matthew Melton of Radcliff, Ky.; a daughter, Stephanie Gehlbach of Corydon; a brother, Bill Reagan of Charlestown;
six grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, July 3, 1 p.m. at Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, Tenn., with burial in Martin Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Bobby White.
Pallbearers: Matt Melton, Jeff Gehlbach, Britt Winningham and Justin, Scott, Jeff and Jason Reagan.
