Louis C. Ott

Louis C. Ott, 86, Lanesville, died Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Harrison County, born June 22, 1919, he was the son of the late Louis P. and Sophia Reinhardt Ott.
He was a self-employed building contractor, a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville, Lanesville Volunteer Fire Dept., Lanesville Heritage Committee and Franklin Township Athletic Club.
Survivors include his wife, the former Louise I. Davidson; two sons, Dennis C. Ott of Lanesville and Bruce G. Ott of Georgetown; a sister Oneda Ringle of Lanesville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, June 17, from 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Monday, June 19, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Monday, June 19, at 1 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Christopher Truelsen.
Pallbearers: Mark and Lynn Davidson, Craig Ott, Mitchell Hall, Adam Kempf and Mark McAdams.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the church’s Building on Faith Fund.
