Estel (Skip) Richards, 78, New Salisbury, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006, at his home.
A native of Georgetown, he was the son of the late Cordie and Hallie Richards.
He retired from General Electric in Louisville and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Harold Richards.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Richards of Palmyra and Terry Richards of Fredericksburg; four daughters, Mona Blessinger, Vicki Richards and Angie Hinton, all of New Salisbury, and Lisa Richards of Corydon; five brothers, Brooks Richards of New Salisbury, Dallas and Wilbur Richards of Indianapolis, Edsel Richards of Clarksville and Floyd Richards of St. Louis; a sister, Barbara Huffman of Memphis, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 31, after 9 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
