G. Bruce Irish

G. Bruce Irish, 78, Corydon, died Friday, May 19, 2006, at Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.
A native of Dundee, Mich., born May 29, 1932, he was the son of the late Russell and Ethel Clare Miller Irish.
He was a retired salesman and a member of the Salvation Army, where he aided in disaster relief.
Survivors include his wife, the former Leona Rhoads; four sons, Michael Irish of Albany, Ohio, Jeffrey Irish of Green Bay, Wis, Russell Irish of Ironton, Ohio, and Capt. Phillip Irish of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Kitty Byron of Flint, Mich., and Sherry Quinn of Cedar Lake; a brother, William Aldridge of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, May 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home in Ironton, Ohio.
Funeral: Tuesday, May 23, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 24, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Perseverance Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.
