Michael Wayne Rigot Sr., 40, Brandenburg, died April 22, 2006, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Louisville, born Aug. 3, 1965, he was the son of Irvin Wayne and Sandra Rigot of Lanesville.
Survivors besides his parents include his wife, the former Kim Large; two sons, Michael Wayne Rigot Jr. of Ramsey and Levi Rigot of Brandenburg; a daughter, Meghan Rigot of Ramsey; and a sister, Patty Rigot of New Salisbury.
He was a member of The Tabernacle of Worship in Brandenburg and was employed as a transportation relocation specialist for FedEx Freight out of Louisville.
Visitation: Monday, April 24, from 2 to 9 p.m. at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, and Tuesday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Tabernacle of Worship.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 25, at 3 p.m. at Tabernacle of Worship with burial in Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Lida Bain.
