William Laws Jr.

William Laws Jr., 73, Marengo, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Core Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
A native of Crawford County, born Sept. 1, 1932, he was the son of the late William Sr. and Sarah Ann Gofourth Laws.
He retired from Childcraft in Salem, was a member of Paoli Wesleyan Church and attended Little Mission Church in Hardinsburg.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, the former Macle Frances Dunn on Sept. 25, 1979, and the former Delores Manship Jones on Sept. 28, 1999; and a sister, Bonnie Lyons.
Survivors include 10 sons, Roger, David, Billy and Glen Laws, all of Marengo, Gale Laws of Louisville, Steven Laws of English, Larry Laws of Indianapolis, Danny Jones of Orleans, Tom Jones of Leavenworth and Hank Jones of Hardinsburg; three daughters, Janet, Brenda and Linda Laws, all of Marengo; a brother, Raymond Laws of Marengo; a sister, Lanora Feiock of Marengo; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Wednesday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at McAdams Funeral Home in Paoli with burial in Hardinsburg Cemetery.
