Mae Nolot, 89, Depauw, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Depauw, born May 8, 1916, she was the daughter of the late August (Guss) and Cora Belle Whitman Smith.
She was a retired bookkeeper for the old Nolot’s Farm Service in Ramsey, and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and St. Rita Altar Society in Frenchtown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Joseph (Jack) Nolot, and a daughter, Ann Kellum.
Survivors include three sons, James M. Nolot of Depauw, Thomas R. Nolot of Pekin and Mervin J. Nolot of Terre Haute; a daughter, Rita L. Whittaker of Depauw; two brothers, August J. Smith of Depauw and Ralph K. Smith of Lanesville; three sisters, Mary Nolot of Depauw and Ruth E. Linton and Jean E. Shrout, both of Ramsey; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 18, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Father Fred Denison.
Vocalists: The church choir.
Organist: Michelle Whittakert.
Arrangements: Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
