Mildred C. Foushee, 90, Lanesville, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany.
A native of Louisville, born Nov. 27, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Sadie Threedouble Wilson.
She was a former seamstress for the old HA Seinshiemer Shirt Factory.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hays Foushee, and three brothers, Leroy, Bud and Norman Wilson.
Survivors include three sons, William Foushee of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Wayne and Norman Foushee, both of Lanesville; a daughter, Janice Oberhausen of New Albany; two sisters, Frances McFarland of Louisville and Myrtle Pontrich of Shelbyville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, March 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Friday, March 24, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Friday, March 24, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Pallbearers: Todd, Steven, Mark, Russell, Bruce, Vincent and Tom Foushee, and Charles Smallwood.
