Becky Davis-Balmer, 54, Georgetown, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, at her home.
She was the Floyd County coroner and assistant director of nursing at Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Albany. She was a former registered nurse at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany, and a member of Ladies Auxiliary FOP, Indiana Coroners Association, International Forensic Nurses Association and International Police Surgeons Association.
Survivors include her husband, Greg Balmer; a son, Phillip E. Davis of Roanoke, Va.; her mother, Effie Jane Sandlin of Lanesville; a brother, Raymond Sandlin of Lanesville; and three sisters, Sharon Cunningham of Louisville, Cecilia Carter of Georgetown and P.J. Sandlin of New Albany.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery.
