James W. Reed

James W. (Corky) Reed, 74, Elizabeth, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Gilbert, W.Va., born Nov. 5, 1931, he was the son of the late James Richmond and Nevada Williams Reed.
He was a retired cabinetmaker, Army medic in the Korean War, member of Grace Tabernacle Assembly of God Church near Laconia, and was active in the pro-life movement.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Reed, and two sisters, Flo Early and Caroline Brown.
Survivors include his wife, the former Peggy F. Fritz, and a sister, Jewel Benson of Tazwell, Va.
Visitation: March 9 from 2 to 9 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and March 10 after 10 a.m. at Grace Tabernacle Assembly of God Church.
Funeral: March 10 at 1 p.m. at the church with burial in Antioch Cemetery near Elizabeth.
Pallbearers: Bruce White, Pete Murphy, Gary and Dale Decker, Richard Norskov and Kenny Spond.
