Robert B. Davis

Robert B. Davis, 71, Corydon, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at his home.
A native of Glasgow, Ky., born July 20, 1934, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Alice Foster Davis.
He was a Navy veteran, where he retired as a master chief and served in the Korean War, Vietnam War, Bay of Pigs and Grenada. He was a Kentucky Colonel, and member of VFW Post 2950 in Corydon, White Water Lodge 159 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shriners Temple 9391 in Fort Wayne, Tri-County Shrine Club, Elks Lodge 270 in New Albany, American Legion Post 332 in Milltown and United States Uniformed Services.
Survivors include his wife, the former Juanita M. Ward; three daughters, Sherie Chastain of Pleasant Lake, Janell Marie Ellerbush of Sandy, Ohio, and Susan F. McMonigle of Corydon; a sister, Sharon Reeves of Charlestown; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 2, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, March 2, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
