Correna L. Barker

Correna L. Barker, 93, Milltown, formerly of Fern Creek, Ky., died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth.
A native of Freeborn County, Minn., born on Dec. 2, 1912, she was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Fern Creek.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Verney Barker; three brothers, and a sister.
Survivors include a son, Charles Barker of Milltown; a daughter, Marilyn Satree of Marengo; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Jan. 23, at Fern Creek Funeral Home in Louisville with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer’s Association.
