Roy E. Miller
Roy Eugene Miller, 85, Georgetown, formerly of Smith Valley, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Valley Junction, Iowa, born Sept. 17, 1920, he was the son of the late Charles and Pearl Shirley Miller.
He was a member of Georgetown Christian Church and Georgetown Masonic Lodge 480, and an Army veteran of World War II, where he served as an aviation engineer.
Survivors include his wife, the former Sibyl K. Callaway; four daughters, Pam Duke of Bargersville, Teresa Detrick of Yardley, Pa., Jama Fiscus of Loveland, Ohio, and Kyna Miller-Stevens of Georgetown; a sister, Imogene Reuter of New Castle; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Jan. 16, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Pinhook Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Officiants: The Revs. Morris Larimore and Jimmy Root.

Pallbearers: Nathan Johnson, Mike, Steve, Zach and Jacob Duke and Bryan Detrick.
