Betty B. Fowler

Betty B. Fowler, 78, Corydon, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born Aug. 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Nina Heishman Bliss.
She retired from the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, was a former member and president of Harrison County Business and Professional Women’s Association, and a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Deaton.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Fowler; a son, Charles Lee Fowler of Corydon; a brother, Kenneth Bliss of Corydon, and two sisters, Billie Hess and Doris Bliss, both of Corydon.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 18, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Jordan Cemetery near Corydon.
Officant: The Rev. Steven Smith.
Pallbearers: Her son, Charles Lee Fowler, Donnie Deaton, Brad Lillpop, Mike Deaton, Eric Bliss, Doug Sherman and B.J. Lillpop.
