Thomas A. Trueblood

Thomas A. Trueblood, 67, The Villages, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at his home.
A native of Orleans, born April 19, 1938, he was the son of the late Russell and Edith Thompson Trueblood.
He was a 1956 graduate of Salem High School, a 1961 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Music, and earned a degree in education from the Indiana University School of Business.
He was a band director at Corydon Central High School from 1961 to 1969 and Madison High School from 1969 to 1971. He was employed as a process technician and manager of production inventory control, and worked in quality control and customer service at GKN Sinter Metals prior to retiring in 2000.
He was an amateur artist, and member of Visual Arts Association and Village Art League in Florida and the Glenbrook Social Club.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, the former Connie Needler of Madison and Scottsburg; two children, Theiss Trueblood Bills and Tod Trueblood; three stepchildren, Linda Hopwood McMeans, Ed Hopwood and Melanie Hopwood Simpson, and 10 grandchildren.
All Faiths Cremation Society in The Villages handled the arrangements.
