Dana (Dink) Sloan, 71, Marengo, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, at her home.
Born Nov. 9, 1934, he was the son of the late Ridgley and Ermel Austin Sloan.
He retired from Schmidt Cabinet Co., was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of Marengo United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 84 in Marengo.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, the former Dorothy Cook; a son, William Judd of Bonnieville; two daughters, Danita Dale of Kokomo and Nancye Richardson of Bonnieville, Ky.; a sister, Bobbie Jean Haycox of English; a brother, Edward Sloan of Marengo; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Dec. 24, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Marengo Cemetery.
Officiants: The Revs. Stephen Lock and Morris Larimore.
Pallbearers: Richard Sloan, Roger Sloan, Richard Magill, John Ransdell and Stacey Haycox.
