Cecilia Bachman

Cecilia Bachman, 80, Lanesville, died Saturday morning, Dec. 17, 2005, at her home.
A native of Terre Haute, born July 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Camille C. and Grace A. Weldon Baines.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Peerless Electronics in Louisville and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Robert and Weldon Baines, and two sisters, Betty Rose Sebrey and Mary Grace Coakley.
Survivors include her husband, Russell J. Bachman of Lanesville; four sons, Anthony Bachman of Missoula, Mont., J. Henry (Hank) Bachman of Eldersburg, Md., Martin Bachman of Georgetown and Bernard Bachman of Corydon; five daughters, Connie Terry of Columbus, Ohio, Elaine Bachman of New Albany, Grace Anne Engleman of Georgetown, Miriam Robertson of Depauw and Rose Marie Rogers of Corydon; six sisters, Jean Jenkins of San Diego, Winnie Bischof of Virginia Beach, Va., and Joan Riggs, Margaret Anne Brodbeck, Mildred Ebel and Catherine Dillman, all of Louisville; 20 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A rosary was prayed Monday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiants: Fathers Wilfred Day and Harold Ripperger.
Pallbearers: Marc, Scott and Brent Rogers, Bart Robertson, Matthew, Jeffrey and Nick Bachman and Beau Terry.
Honorary pallbearers: Dane Terry and Christian Bachman.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Sisters of St. Francis in Oldenburg, The American Cancer Society or her church.
