Marilyn M. Masters

Marilyn Mildred Koser Masters, 67, New Salisbury, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005.
A native of Sandusky, Ohio, born March 15, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Chester and Wilma Bickley Koser.
She served alongside her husband, the Rev. Philip Edward Koser, at Barbe Baptist Church in Franklin from 1968 to 1976, Hillcrest Baptist Church in Bellefontaine (Ohio) from 1976 to 1980, and Victory Baptist Church in New Salisbury from 1983 to the present. She was also a pre-school teacher for several years in Franklin, Ky., and Shawnee Baptist Church in Louisville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Philip Edward Masters II, and a brother, John Clayton (Jack) Koser.
Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Angela Masters Young of Bellefontaine and Linda L. Masters Gardner of Georgetown; a stepmother, Alverta Johnson Koser; two brothers, Gerald Franklin and Gregory Paul Koser; a sister, Susan Koser; seven grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Shawnee Baptist Church with burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
Arrangements: Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice of Southeastern Indiana.
