Heidi L. Vaughn

Heidi Lynne King Vaughn, 32, Lanesville, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at her home.
A native of Huntington, W.Va., born May 3, 1973, she was an administrative assistant to the assistant dean at Speed School of Engineering for the University of Louisville and attended Northside Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Edward Dye and Charles King.
Survivors include a son, Simon Chadwyck Vaughn of Lanesville; her parents, Marsha and Charles Ringle of Lanesville and Duayne L. King of Argillite, Ky.; a sister, Julie Marie Browning of Ashland, Ky.; grandparents, Betty Dye of St. Mary’s W. Va., Wilma King of Starke, Fla., and Oneda Ringle of Lanesville; two brothers, Sean and Nicholas Ringle of New Albany; her fiance, Jeff Detwiler of Louisville, and her former husband, Chad Vaughn of Lanesville.
Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lanesville.
Officiant: Jim Browning.
Pallbearers: Nicholas and Sean Ringle, Jeff Detwiler, Steve Raiche, Jim Browning and Mike Day.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Heidi King Vaughn Scholarship Fund for Students with Reading Disabilities.
