Sylvia L. Taylor

Sylvia L. Taylor, 80, Corydon, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Harri-son Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Corydon, born Nov. 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Ivan W. and Rosa A. Gilmore Duley.
She was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Taylor, and four sisters, Alice Duley, Edith and Bertha King, and Charlotte McAdams.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Ann Owens of Joseph, Utah, and Diane Lee Rice of Georgetown; a brother, Ezra I. Duley of Xenia, Ohio; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and a niece, Juanita Gresham of Corydon, who cared for her.
Funeral: Monday, Oct. 10, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Douglas Finney.
Pallbearers: James Owens, Charles Rice, Larry Gresham, Tim Crowe, Billy McCauley and Paul McAdams.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.
