Ethelda M. Orme

Ethelda M. Orme, 92, Corydon, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born June 30, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Wylie H. and Minnie E. Frakes Rhoads.
She was employed at Old Capital Cleaners and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Alonzo Rhoads, and a sister, Catherine Frakes.
Survivors include six sons, Randy, Melvin Jann, Donald K., Larry J., Dennis L. and Gary D. Orme; two daughters, Bonnie L. Saulman and Patricia L. Swallows; two brothers, Herbert and Frances Rhoads; two sisters, Ruth Mathes and Margie Longacre; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Perseverance Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.
Pallbearers: Melvin, Jeff, Tony and Jonathon Orme, Gerrad Hall and Richard Daily.
Honorary pallbearers: Todd, Michael and Scott Orme, Darryl and Kent Daily, Mark Toler and Chris Schneider.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Crusade for Children or Habitat for Humanity of Harrison County.
