Woodrow (J.R.) Butler, 63, Lanesville, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 14, 2005, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Louisville, born May 29, 1942, he was the son of the late Woodrow W. and Elizabeth Payton Butler.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Local 181 and Abel Construction in Louisville, and a member of National Rifle Association, American Motorcycle Association, Varmint Hunter’s Association and Georgetown Conservation Club.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Storch Butler; two sons, Brad and John Butler, both of Lanesville, and two grandchildren.
Funeral: Sept. 16 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Roy McClain.
Pallbearers: Martin (Buzz), John D, Don and David Storch, Norman May and Arthur Crawley.
