Mary L. Langlais

Mary Louise Langlais, 82, Seymour, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at 6:15 a.m. at Schneck Medical Center.
A native of Hayden, born Jan. 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sophia Gerth Baker.
She was a waitress at Colonial Caf’ and Colony Chef Restaurant, both in Seymour, and retired from the clerk’s office at the courthouse in Brownstown. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, and a 50-year member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Baker.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Edward George Langlais; a son, Stephen Edward Langlais of Seymour; a daughter, Patricia Louise Beddoe of Corydon; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Rosary: Prayed Friday, Aug. 26, at Voss Funeral Home in Seymour.
A Mass was celebrated Saturday, Aug. 27, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Officiant: Father Todd Goodson.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
