Monte Talmage

Monte L. (Mr. Lucky) Talmage , 54, Marengo, died at 2:28 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at his home.
A native of Anderson, born June 8, 1951, he was the son of the late Jesse and Edna Leever Talmage.
He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971, a truck driver, and owned and operated Lucky’s Express Trucking Co. in Marengo. His faith was Native American.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley J. Talmage; his mother, Edna Eustler of Alexandria; a son, SSgt. Lucky Talmage stationed at Whiteman (Mo.) Airforce Base; two daughters, Kelly Lewellyn of Paoli and Teresa Voyles of Marengo; two stepsons, Mike and Mel, both of Crossville, Tenn.; a brother, Greg Talmage of Anderson; four sisters, Rebecca Sharpe of Vincennes, Sue Ripka of Abilene, Texas, Marka Leonard of Silver Lake and Mary Jo Seifert of Anderson, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Aug. 21, at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
The body was cremated.
