Lawrence Leffler

Lawrence (Dutch) Leffler, 80, Elizabeth, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany.
A native of Evans Landing, born Dec. 26, 1924, he was the son of the late Luther and Carrie Mason Leffler.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired employee of Ford Motor Co. Truck Plant in Louisville, a 50-year member of Pisgah Lodge 39 F&AM in New Albany, and a member of Hornickle Post American Legion in Elizabeth, UAW Local 862 and Elizabeth Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.
Survivors include his wife, the former Doris K. Lopp; a brother, Luther (Bud) Leffler of New Albany, and a sister, Madeline Hottle of Houston.
Funeral: Sunday, August 21, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Officiant: The Rev. Richard Goodwin.
Pallbearers: Dennis, Dale and Dean Lopp, Joe White, Rick Sowders and Nicholas Gehlbach.
