Ruby V. Sheckell

Ruby Viola McGuire Schuley Knieriem Sheckell, 93, Corydon, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Perry County, born Aug. 25, 1911, she was the daughter of the late David and Martha VanWinkle McGuire.
She was a homemaker and a member of Corydon Church of the Nazarene.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Schuley, Clarence Knieriem and Luther Sheckell; a stepson, Hubert Schuley; a stepdaughter, Marie Moore; two brothers, Ray and Lawrence McGuire, and two sisters, Lillie Judd and Hazel Faulkenburg.
Survivors include a son, Curtis Knieriem of Taswell; two daughters, Mildred Sheckell of Corydon and Edna Pipes of Vero Beach, Fla.; a stepson, Bill Sheckell of Kentucky; three stepdaughters, Goldia Roberts and Mary Etta Strange, both of Corydon, and Betty Hardin of New Albany; two brothers, Norman and Noble McGuire, both of New Albany; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Aug. 13, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Old Union Cemetery in Sulphur. Officiant: Brother Lanny Amy.
Organist: Dianne Wininger.
Pallbearers: Curtis L., Tasha, Krista, Sheena and Jasmin Knieriem, and Randy Smith.
