Malcolm R. Stewart, 76, Marengo, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at Harrison Health and Rehab in Corydon.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a truck driver and a member of Marengo Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Raymond Stewart and Clodie Key, and a daughter, Sharon Kathryn Stewart.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Ruth Cornelison; a son, Malcolm Stewart Jr. of Miles, Mich.; a daughter, Martha Stroud of Marengo; a brother, Lloyd Stewart of Clarksville; six sisters, Wilma Sikes of New Albany, Barbara Browne of Philpot, Ky., Carol Barton of Milltown, and Isma Potter, Maggie Stewart and Betty Eastridge, all of Marengo.
Funeral: Friday, Aug. 12, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Marengo Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Bruce Hawkins.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Marengo Christian Church.
