CC, NH pigskinners in action this Friday nite

Football teams from North Harrison and Corydon Central will don their pads for scrimmage outings at home on Friday night.
At Corydon, the Panthers will host Southridge at 8 p.m. and the cost for admission is $2.
Due to construction at the school, anyone needing handicapped parking information should contact the athletic department at 738-6155. Also, a free, air-conditioned bus will be on hand to shuttle fans from the elementary school and student parking lots to the front gate starting 30 minutes before kick-off. The bus will run until 30 minutes after the final horn sounds.
Meanwhile, the Cougars will suit up for a date against Springs Valley. That scrimmage also begins at 8 p.m. The cost for admission is $3.
Football season tickets for North’s five home games will be on sale: $15 for adults and $12 for students. Normal gate admission price is $4 per game.
Other scrimmages, ticket sales going on, too
— Corydon Central’s volleyballers will scrimmage Perry Central tomorrow (Thursday) night at 7 p.m. Admission is $2.
— Corydon’s girls soccer team plays at the Providence Jamboree on Saturday at 5:30 and 6 p.m. against Madison and Providence, respectfully. Admission is $3.
— Season tickets for North Harrison volleyball will be on sale in the bookstore, the office and at the first home game on Aug. 15 against New Albany (which begins at 6:30 p.m. and is a varsity-only contest).
The cost for a regular season ticket is $15 for adults and $10 for students. A new, super ticket ‘ which includes both JV and varsity volleyball matches ‘ will be on sale for $25 for adults and $22 for students.
