Betty Y. Fluhr

Betty Y. Schifcar Fluhr, 79, Laconia, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at her home.
A native of Los Angeles, born May 31, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Irene Wilson Bonardi.
She was a former nurse and telephone operator in California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Schifcar.
Survivors include a son, Michael J. Schifcar of Leavenworth; a brother, Dexter Lloyd of Idaho; three sisters, Gloria Barker of Cedar City, Utah, LaWanda Valentine of West Covina, Calif., and Beverly Wooley of San Fernando, Calif.; two grandchildren, Carol Carrillo of Laconia and Steven Schifcar of Elizabeth, whom cared for her, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 13, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Phillip Hewitt.
Pallbearers: Michael Schifcar, Steven Schifcar, Tyler Schifcar, Harry Carrillo, Jonathan Carrillo, Cameron Slaughter and Quaid Slaughter.
