Virginia Ehalt

Virginia Wilson Ehalt, 88, Corydon, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Corydon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Corydon, born Nov. 26, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Otway and Bessie Loy Wilson.
She was a former co-owner and operator of Star Cleaners in Corydon and New Albany, a member, deaconess, Sunday school teacher and choir member at Corydon Presbyterian Church, a charter member of Corydon Presbyterian Alliance, a past regent of the Piankeshaw Chapter and the Hoosier Elm Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a past president of Altrusa Club in New Albany, a past president of the Corydon Women’s Club and a past president of District 3 Indiana Federation of Women’s Clubs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ehalt.
Survivors include a son, Roger Ehalt of New Albany; three daughters, Ruthanne Banta of Euless, Texas, Ginny Hauswald of Jeffersonville and Beth Bostock of Corydon; a sister, Henrietta Miller of Scottsburg; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 28, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott Hill.
Pallbearers: Jeff Banta, Jack Halliburton, Steve and Philip Ehalt, Tim Summers, Russell Frank, Joe Fleace, Ruben Lewis and Doug Burks.
