Lois Johnson

Lois Johnson, 96, Georgetown, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, in New Albany.
A native of Scottsburg, born June 7, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Howard Robert and Carrie Ellen Mace Atcheson.
She was a homemaker, a member of Speedway Christian Church, Ladies Circle at her church, Speedway Homemakers Group, Travel Study Club, Alpha XI Delta and Psi Iota XI, and was a Girl Scout leader.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Emerson, and a sister.
Survivors include a son, Robert Eugene Johnson of Nashville; two daughters, Sue Ellen Johnson Huff of Floyds Knobs and Jane Ann Johnson Kitterman of Naperville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 28, at Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Dale Huff.
