Joseph Wiseman

Joseph L. Wiseman, 72, Corydon, died Monday, June 27, 2005, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Mauckport, born Sept. 2, 1932, he was the son of the late Arlen and Delphfenia Langdon Wiseman.
He retired from Weddle Brothers Construction Co. in Indianapolis and was a member of Carpenters Union Local 64 in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, the former Bertha G. Anderson; three sons, Joseph Allen Wiseman of Corydon, James E. Curts of Elizabeth and Jerry Lee Hoagland of Jeffersonville; five daughters, Wanda Shickles of Clarksville, Gloria Doyle of Danville, Ky., Sandra J. Bolen of Shelburn, Sherry Wade of Yulee, Fla., and Melissa Thomason of Fort Polk, La.; a sister, Sara Byerly of Corydon; 23 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 30, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery near Mauckport.
Officiant: The Rev. John Rowe.
Pallbearers: Garry Byrd, Richard Jones, Jonathan and Greg Simmons, Jesse Pierson and Joseph Wiseman.
