Lawrence Daniels

Lawrence Daniels, 72, Marengo, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Mitchell Manor.
A native of Harveyton, Ky., born Sept. 10, 1932, he was the son of the late George Clifton and Mary Stamper Daniels.
He was a carpenter and welder and owned American Welding Shop in Chicago for 12 years before retiring in 1979. He was a member of Alleluia Temple Church in English and attended First Assembly of God in Bedford for the past seven years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Clifton, and a daughter, Christine Marie Daniels.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Daniels; two sons, William D. Daniels of Mitchell and James Daniels of Corydon; two daughters, Gina Judd of Marengo and Joyce Ann Daniels of Houston; two brothers, Hershel Daniels of Donraven, Ky., and Conley Daniels of Hazard, Ky.; three sisters, Marie Baker of Chavies, Ky., Lilly Davis of Chicago and Ella Kilburn of Austin; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, June 18, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Mathers Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Kevin Stilwell.
