Harry Thomas (Tom) Houghton, 89, New Albany, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He owned and operated the old Houghton Studios in New Albany and retired from the old Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a 4th degree Knight at Cardinal Ritter Council 1221 Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club, all of New Albany.
Survivors include two sons, William Houghton of Georgetown and James Houghton of Lanesville; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, June 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
