James Voignier

James A. Voignier, 71, Palmyra, died Monday, June 6, 2005, at his home.
A native of New Albany, he was a retired self-employed painter and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, David Voignier of Charlestown and Robert Voignier of Floyds Knobs; four daughters, Cindy Knotts and Amanda Byers, both of New Albany, Joette Martin of Palmyra and Tina Martin of Georgetown; a brother, Clifford Voignier of Magnolia, Texas; three sisters, Marilyn Lynch and Virginia DeMent, both of New Albany, and Margaret McElvain of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 8, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 9, after 10 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
