Melvin M. Brandenburg

Melvin Marion Brandenburg, 80, Central, died Thursday evening, May 26, 2005, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Valley City, born Oct. 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Ollie and Lula Froman Brandenburg.
He was a retired packer at the old Keller Manufacturing Co., a farmer, a disabled veteran of World War II, and a member of VFW Post 2950 in Corydon and the Bonnie Sloan American Legion in New Albany.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Yundt of Guston, Ky.; a sister, Mary Garmon of Central, and a granddaughter.
Funeral: Monday, May 30, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in the Central Cemetery. Officiant: Betty Jean Yundt.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
