Donald L. Wetzel

Donald L. Wetzel, 60, Depauw, died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Seymour, born Oct. 5, 1944, he was the son of the late Waldo and Dorothy Gurtz Wetzel.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of 101st Airborne, and a former employee of Englehart Chemical Co. in Louisville and Jeffboat in Jeffersonville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Waldo Jr. Wetzel.
Survivors include his wife, the former Phyllis A. Eason; two daughters, Deanna L. Bruner of New Salisbury and Dawna M. Johnson of Milltown; two brothers, Wayne Wetzel of Depauw and Lonnie Wetzel of Palmyra, and four grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 4, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 5, after 8 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday, May 5, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Bruce Hawkins.
Military rites: Performed at the grave site by the Milltown American Legion.
Pallbearers: Melvin Line, Michael and Wyatt Wetzel, Ryan and Steve Hanger, and Rick Short.
