Sara E. Leffler

Sara Ethel Clunie Leffler, 96, Depauw, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Depauw, born Oct. 28, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Ola Ann Flock Clunie.
She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught at North Harrison, Corydon and Milltown schools for 29 years. She was a member of Indiana Retired Teachers Association and Unity Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Asbury W. Leffler; a brother, Leslie R. Clunie, and two sisters, Georgia Clunie and Mary Fowler.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Sunday, March 20, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Jeff Reed.
Vocalist: Harry Ketterman.
Organist: Judy Albin.
Pallbearers: Kenneth Flock, Tommy Green, Clifford Gutknecht, Edward Routh, and Jim, Ronnie, Donald and Steve Leffler.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
