Earl W. Adam Sr.

Earl W. Adam Sr., 91, New Albany, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Providence Retirement Home.
A native of Harrison County, he retired in 1972 from Colgate-Palmolive Co. in Jeffersonville, was a member of Floyd County and Silver Creek Conservation clubs, and was a former member of Indiana National Guard and the old Culbertson Avenue Baptist Church in New Albany.
Survivors include a son, Earl W. Adam Jr. of New Albany; two daughters, Rosetta M. Harvey of Georgetown and Carolyn J. Sciarra of Louisville; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 9, from noon to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or the Providence Retirement Home Building Fund.
