Connie R. Eckart

Connie Ruth Eckart, 56, Wabash, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at 10 p.m. at her home.
A native of Booneville, Miss., born Sept. 18, 1948, she was the daughter Frederick Medbourn of Greentown and the late Virgi Inez Smith Medbourn.
She was a 1966 graduate of Delphi High School and attended Indiana Wesleyan University of Marion for two years, and was a member of Calvary Chapel Worship Center in Wabash where she was an office manager and her husband, Stephen Estel Eckart (formerly of Harrison County), is a senior pastor.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Medbourn, and a sister, Helen Sue Henry.
Besides her father and her husband of 36 years, she is survived by two sons, Rodney Eckart of Greentown and Matthew Eckart of Lebanon; two daughters, Monica Middletown and Angela Little, both of Greentown; two sisters, Carolyn Gibbs of Greentown and Dorothy Medbourn of Carmel; a brother, James Medbourn of Germany, and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, March 2, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Worship Center.
Funeral: Thursday, March 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Worship Center with a graveside service Friday at 1 p.m. at Smith Campground Cemetery in Dogwood. Arrangements: Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home in Wabash.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Wabash County Cancer Society or Wabash-Miami Home Healthcare and Hospice.
