Roy E. Dye

Roy E. Dye, 79, Milltown, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at 3:43 p.m. at Bloomington Hospital.
A native of Magnolia, Ky., born Feb. 7, 1925, he was the son of the late Chester and Bessie Skaggs Dye.
He was a retired checker for P. Lelands Tobacco Co. in Louisville and attended Cedar Street Baptist Church in Marengo.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Lou Dye.
Survivors include his wife, Opal J. Dye; a daughter, Bonnie K. Darling of Milltown; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral:Feb. 4 at Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown with burial in Milltown Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Ed Conway.
