Lois Glindmyer

Lois Dunlap Glindmyer, 82, Rotterdam Junction, N.Y., died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at her home.
A native of Louisville, born Oct. 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John Stewart and Ruth Monger Burton Dunlap.
She was an Army veteran of World War II, where she served in the Army Nurse Corps, a registered nurse at Ellis Hospital for 30 years, and a former member of Rotterdam Junction Garden Club and Rotterdam Young at Heart Senior Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Clyde C. Glindmyer, in 1989, and a son, Gary Glindmyer.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Glindmyer of Rotterdam Junction; a daughter, Norma Schlosser of Virginia Beach, Va.; five brothers, Kenneth Dunlap of Gilbertsville, Ky., Michael and David Dunlap, both of Louisville, Gale Dunlap of Jeffersonville and Byron Dunlap of Spanaway, Wash.; three sisters, Judy Shaw of Clarksville, and Janis Dunlap and Glenna Mehling, both of Corydon; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Feb. 23, 6 to 8 p.m. at Griswold Funeral Home in Schenectady, N.Y.
Funeral: Feb. 24, 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Schenectady Memorial Park.
