Catherine R. Allen

Catherine R. Allen, 76, Georgetown, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of New Albany, born April 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Goldie Lee Walls.
She retired as a baker at Georgetown Elementary School and was a member of Georgetown Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Donald Allen of Georgetown; a daughter, Judy A. Lanham of Indianapolis; a sister, Luella Goldsmith of New Albany; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 12, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Wolfe Cemetery.
Officiants: The Revs. Roebin Tyler and Roy McClain.
Pallbearers: Bob Fogg, Doug Melton, Jim Mitchell, John Pettit, Paul Rhodes and Don Vanover.
